I've been dreaming up stories for as long as I can remember. Several years ago I took to writing them down, committing to computer, paper, and ink, people and places which previously existed only within my mind. While I enjoy writing about love and adventure, much of my work has comic elements. After all, what good is life, if we can’t laugh at it? Recently I've created an alterego for my more sensual writing which is published at Ellora's Cave, the premier erotic romance publisher. Cricket has her own website at www.cricketstarr.com. Be sure to check out my Cricket books if you like romance with more spice to it. In addition to writing, I work as a software engineer for a major company in California. I enjoy reading, music, and dancing in the local Nutcracker. I used to take dance and now they insist on my doing some of the character roles such as Mother Ginger. My family includes many sisters, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, one mom, a cat, two kids, and, of course, my husband of over twenty-five years. Recently I helped with an online game site that my husband was running, taking the part of several of the non-player characters.
